Peach Pie

It’s easy as pie! Grab your pie dough and some fresh peaches and you’ll be enjoying this summer favorite in no time!

Ingredients

Filling
7 peaches, cut as desired
1 cup sugar, granulated
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs (beaten for an eggwash)
Turbinado sugar for garnish

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the peaches, sugar, vanilla, lemon juice, salt, and Caputo "00" Baking Flour.
  3. Take your classic pie crust dough and prepare the pie shell in a pie dish.
  4. Add the peach mixture to the dish with the pie crust. 
  5. Top as desired with additional pie crust.
  6. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with turbinado sugar.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees F for approximately 1 hour until golden brown.
  8. Serve with vanilla ice cream or fresh whipped cream.
