Classic Pumpkin Bread
This old family recipe has stood the test of time and is one of our favorite Autumnal eats!

Ingredients
Pumpkin Bread
3 cups sugar, granulated
3 large eggs
16oz can of pumpkin puree
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt, fine
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Optional
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1 cup vegetable oil instead of Frienn
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Butter and flour two 9x5x3in loaf pans
- Beat the sugar and Frienn High Oleic Sunflower Oil in a large bowl.
- Mix in the eggs and pumpkin.
- In a separate bowl, sift the Caputo "00" Chef's Flour, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, salt, and baking powder and mix together.
- In 2 additions, add the dry mixture to the pumpkin mixture. Be careful not to over-mix.
- If using walnuts, mix them in now.
- Divide the batter into the prepared pans.
- Bake for about 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
